Information and Communication Technologies, expressed as Informatics or Information, has gained importance rapidly in recent years in parallel with technological developments and has become an indispensable concept for all fields of science. As a versatile discipline, it includes different academic disciplines such as Informatics, artificial intelligence, cognitive sciences and computer sciences.

 

The preoccupation of informatics is to regulate the flow of information within and between systems in these disciplines in a healthy way. For this purpose, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) based Information Systems are established, which perform functions such as the collection, classification, storage, processing, transmission and presentation of information. Informatics, as a profession, aims to provide the necessary professional skills for the development and use of Information Systems. Informatics is necessary in all disciplines, especially health, law, business, education and communication, where these systems are used.
